To perform a GOLDEN BOOT, please follow these steps:
- Start by closing your device’s control panel
- Make sure your device is properly connected to your computer (via USB or ThunderBolt)
- Press and hold the power button of the device
- While holding the power button down, please disconnect the device’s power cable
- Re-connect your device’s power cable while still holding down the power button
- Open your device’s control panel and perform a firmware update. The firmware update window should appear automatically. If it does not, please check if it has appeared behind your control panel window
- Restart your device
